The terms and conditions of Courier Daily for using the website and services (business directory, marketplace, job listings, family announcements).

Version 2026-01. These terms apply to all visitors and users of courierdaily.co.uk.

Article 1 — Definitions

  • Courier Daily — Courier Daily Ltd, Companies House 12345678.
  • User — any natural or legal person who visits the website or avails of a service.
  • Services — business directory, marketplace, job vacancies, announcements, and family notices.

Article 2 — Use of the website

  1. The user shall use the website reasonably and not for purposes that are contrary to the law or public order.
  2. It is prohibited to scrape the website in an automated manner, except with express permission.
  3. We reserve the right to refuse access in case of improper use.

Article 3 — Account

  1. For some services, an account is required. The user must provide accurate information and keep their login details confidential.
  2. In case of suspected misuse, an account may be blocked.

Article 4 — Listings

  1. Listings (advertisements, job vacancies, family notices) must be truthful and not misleading.
  2. Discriminatory, offensive, or unlawful content will be removed.
  3. Family notices require verification according to our guidelines.
  4. We reserve the right to refuse or remove listings afterwards.

Article 5 — Payments and refunds

  1. Payments are made via PayPal. Amounts are in GBP and inclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise.
  2. We have a transparent refund policy.
  3. For rejected listings, the full amount will be refunded within 14 days.

Article 6 — Copyright and use of content

See our separate copyright policy. The content on Courier Daily is protected by copyright. Reproduction without attribution is prohibited.

Article 7 — User comments

  1. Comments (on articles or marketplace advertisements) are moderated.
  2. The user is solely responsible for the content of their comments.
  3. We will remove comments that are contrary to the law, offensive, or deemed spam.

Article 8 — Liability

Courier Daily strives for the correct functioning of the website, but accepts no liability for indirect damage, lost income, or consequential damage.

Article 9 — Applicable law

These terms are governed by UK law. Disputes will be submitted to the courts of London.

Article 10 — Amendments

We reserve the right to amend these terms. Changes will be announced at least 30 days before they take effect via the website.
