Complaints About Our Journalism
Our complaints procedure: how to submit a complaint about our reporting and what to expect.
We strive to report carefully and honestly. If we fail to do so, we want to know. Below you can read how to file a complaint.
Step 1 — Direct Contact with the Editorial Team
The quickest route is to email klachten@courierdaily.co.uk. Please include:
- The link or title of the article
- Which fact or quote you believe is incorrect
- What the correct situation is (please provide a source)
- Your name and contact details
You will receive a substantive response from an editor within 5 working days. If the complaint is valid, the article will be corrected or amended according to our correction policy.
Step 2 — Editor-in-Chief
If you are not satisfied with the response, please email our editor-in-chief Eva Mulder: hoofdredactie@courierdaily.co.uk. You will receive a final judgement within 10 working days.
Step 3 — Press Council
If we cannot resolve the issue together, you can file a complaint with the Press Council. Courier Daily submits to its rulings and publishes the judgement on this website.
