Refund Policy

When and how we refund payments for advertisements, job listings, and other paid placements.

We want you to be satisfied with our services. If that is not the case, we are transparent about when you are entitled to a refund.

When You Will Receive a Full Refund

  • Placement Rejected — if we reject your advertisement, job vacancy, announcement, or obituary, you will receive a full refund within 14 days.
  • Technical Issue — your placement has not been (partially) visible due to our fault. Refund proportional to the days not displayed.
  • Double Charge — refund within 5 working days.
  • Cancellation Before Publication — full refund if you cancel before the placement goes live.

When You Will Not Receive a Refund

  • The placement has appeared according to our guidelines and you change your mind.
  • Your advertisement has achieved less reach than you hoped (we guarantee placement, not reach).
  • You have left a typo in your advertisement (see the article "Changes" below).

Changing a Placement

A typo or error in your own text can be corrected for free via your account. Otherwise, email support@courierdaily.co.uk with the change.

Procedure

  1. Send a request to factuur@courierdaily.co.uk with your order reference (UK-XXXXXXXX-XXXXXX).
  2. We will assess within 5 working days.
  3. If approved, the amount will be refunded within 14 days via the same payment method.

Obituaries

Obituaries are not automatically refunded, even if you change your mind afterwards. In case of rejection by our moderation, a full refund applies.

Disputes

If we cannot resolve the issue together? You can contact The Disputes Committee or the competent court.
